Whatever I can get away with
That's good thinking! I asked if I still had to be active duty and they said yes?! I think they were probably pissed about the Costco Pricing?!

Used to be true, about a year ago a woman recently widowed from her military husband made a big complaint after a Toyota dealer printed out the "rules" of the military rebate and highlighted where "deceased" military members were excluded. Now they give it to anyone who's retired within one year of active duty.

I was Air Force, Captain. Still technically in the IRR. The Reservist ID I have shows an expiration date of "Indefinite" -- so in effect it never expires. Not sure if that is just an Officer thing or enlisted get something similar. At any case, the Dealership was happy to honor it they photo copied my ID and knocked another 500 off..... that was after they negotiated down to $500 over invoice for me and no "dealer" add ons. Did have plenty of factory add-ons but got those at the invoice price too. Maybe my dealer was just awesome...which I think they were.

Thanks for your continued service! The military rebate comes from Toyota Financial Services, so no skin off the dealers back, but $500 over invoice is a steal right now. I work for just about the largest volume Toyota dealer in new england, and we don't offer a dollar off these trucks (except when I want one of course :anonymous:) because they are irreplaceable at this point.

Yeah keep telling your self that it will be six months for mine when it gets here. I have a 3/25/16 port date. That should give me about a 4/20/16 delivery date.
