Snugtop Pro Lock Issue

Dobinson's 2" Lift Cooper Discoverer AT3

Have you guys ever seen/heard of this happening?

The face of the lock has magically rotated to the right, from it's straight vertical position. Thus, I cannot get the key in.

I have tried using WD40 and a flat head to rotate it back which just caused me to bend part of the opening which you can see in the picture.

Anyone experience this or have any ideas? I know I could bring it back to the dealer where I got it, but would rather not.
