I recently put a 2.5 in lift on my 99 Tacoma, shortly after I noticed my CV boots had ripped. I replaced them with long travel CV boots, those also ripped open. I was considering putting on new long travel boots in combination with a differential drop kit to see if that will fix my problem. Has anybody else had this problem, and have any suggestions on a solution?

make sure the shock bolt is facing the right way. the nut should be at the front of the truck.
