Anybody here used any of the new tire coatings that supposedly last for several months? I currently use Meguiar's Hyper Dressing diluted 2:1 but I have to apply it every wash since it's water based & easily comes off. I've came across some reviews on Autogeek but was wondering if anybody on here has been any experience.

Whadaya want shiny tires for? Spray Nine cleans them well. I find the shit that makes them shine collects dust and makes them look like shit very quickly.

This stuff is good if you're just trying to protect the rubber from UV. Though I don't know how necessary that it. 303-Products-Aerospace-Protectant_0.png

I like a "shiny" tire. Meguiar's Hyper Dressing is great. Has a nice shine at first & becomes more matte the longer you drive the car. I was just curious about the coatings because it could cut down on my overall detail time.

Regular old Armor All Tire Foam in the tall aerosol can is the best I've found. One coat on a clean tire is perfect for a truck, not too shiny.

    Compared to what other products?

I have used Tuf-shine. Not really that impressed.

I don't like tire dressing, I have a white truck and it slings that crap on the side of my truck. Then black stuff sticks to the tire goop

What all do you use 303 on?
I bought a soft bed cover. The shop gave me a small bottle of it.

Then you are either applying too much or using a cheap dressing.

Or not letting it dry thoroughly before driving off.

I've always liked to use tire shine products and not once have I noticed that they fling anything. I let them dry in the street (because don't use that crap on your nice driveway) for 30-60 minutes before driving.
