Hey everyone! Before you all yell at me and tell me to look on the forums and that there's a million other posts on this exact thing... I've been looking around here for a couple hours and I haven't been able to find a "set in stone" answer to my questions :(

But my question is if I add 5100's to the front with Eibach springs and set the billies to .85 how much actual lift will I get? I've seen posts claiming anywhere from 2-3.5 inches so I'm not sure what actual number to expect? Also for a truck running stock uca's I've seen posts saying not to exceed 2inches of lift and I've seen people claiming 3 inches and they were fine. Just wanting some clarification before I dive into this and have problems arise uca related. I want to somewhat level my truck out and having a bit of bro lean doesn't bother me since I'll be adding a leaf in the rear a couple months down the road. My truck is a 15 dcsb and the suspension is all stock.
    Thanks!
(Sorry for another 5100 related thread)

Hope you get a reply on this, but I have a feeling it will be 2.5-3 inch lift and yes you need a UCA.

But I have read many posts where people are fine with there UCA and 3" lift.

Normally, Eibach springs on lowest setting is anywhere from 2.75-3, anything above that, add .85

Thanks for the replays fellas! Jon4x4 so just the eibach springs with the billies on the lowest setting should be around 3" right? Sorry to be repetitive I just want to be sure so I can plan accordingly

My understanding is one should expect .85 + 1.6(preload+spring length)

I have this set up with an extra .25" spacer driver side. I originally measured between 2.75-3".

    I have a DCSB 4.0L 4x4

I have the 5100's with the Eibach's on my 4.0L DCLB and I got just under 2.5" of lift. I have the C clip on the second position (which is .85 I believe). Kit came from Toytec which included 1/4" top plate spacers as well.

With the setup mentioned plus 1/4" spacer on top (1/2" on drivers side to comp for taco lean) I'm sitting at about 2.75" of lift and still running factory UCA's. The UCA's only touch the coil at full droop with wheels off the ground. I haven't had a problem with them yet but I don't do a lot of wheeling at the moment.

You might have a slightly different setup with the 4cyl tho...

Don't see why people seem to want to pay more buying the same product

Anyhow here's a kit you might want to check out
    http://www.headstrongoffroad.com/headstrong-kits-tacoma-05-6-lug.html

Op you have a Prerunner and have the 2.7 liter? If this is the case you will get more lift than advertised since the lift provided from the coils is based on the 4x4 double cab. Now considering you are probably close to 300 lbs or more lighter than the 4x4, if I were you I would seriously consider lift spindles and forget the coil idea. If you want to stay with coils I'd do the OMEs instead of the eibachs, the eibachs have a higher spring rate.

Now with the weight of you truck factor in an extra 0.75" to 1" increase over the advertised lift.
Example: 887s will provide a double cab 4x4 around 3". Chances are with your truck you will land at 4"
    885 normally 2.5", you'll land about 3.5"
    884 normally 2", you'll land about 3"

All these number are approximate, just keep that in mind as well. Oh and this is just the lift from the coils, if going with 5100s these lifts are with the clip at the bottom or ZERO.

Marie was great I just bought Icon rear 2.0 shocks with the Icon 1.5 progressive AAL and 3 degree shims with the OME Carrier Bearing drop kit. Also bought OME 887's assembled with 5100's for 3 inches of lift. And then I ordered some Camburg Ball Joint UCA's from Down South Motorsports. Marie was incredible to deal with

I just installed 5100 all 4 corners with eibach 112/620 set .85 and 1/4 inch spacer on driver side on my 15 trd or , total lift 2 1/2 inch in the front, I added a 1 inch block in the back and the truck sits level.

What are your front hub to fender measurements? I have the same front set up with the 5100's set at zero with 1/2 inch spacer on both sides and I'm at 22.5. The rear I have icon 3 leaf progressive aal with the over load left in and I'm at 23. Was thinking about going to the.85 setting to level it out and maybe throw 255x85's on there

I'll let you know what I get next week. I've had this setting in my back bedroom since Christmas and finally getting around to putting everything on with my 5100's next week. I may not get "as" much front lift though due to my plate bumper, but anything is better than my stock coils at the moment.
