Finally became a member today and glad to be here. For years, I enjoy reading Tacoma forums and I had 4 Tacomas so far, 2 were 4x4s. I believe I qualify as a Tacoma fan.

My first Tacoma was a 2006 Reg cab, 5 spd, 2wd. Had it for 2 years and put 30k miles on it.

Then I got the 2009 4 banger, 5spd, 5 lug low boy. Ohh man, I hated the embarassing itty bitty pizza cutter tires. I eventually put on All Terrains. I liked the Auto LSD but I been lusting for a 4x4 for a longgg time.
I had this truck for exactly 1 year, 16k miles.

I ordered my 2015 4x4, 2.7L, 5 speed stickshift at $360 over invoice. 2 1/2 months later, It finally arrived 3 days after my birthday. I can't believe Toyota let me drive my trade-in truck that long and still honored the deal. The 4x4 offroad capability blew my mind, even with stock dunflops tires, it floated over mud and conquered steep hills. But on the hwy, you ain't passing nobody. Think about it, almost 4,000 lbs with 159hp. I averaged 16-18 mpg.
I had this truck for 1 1/2 years, 16k miles.

I went to the dealer just to look at a 2016 DCSB 4x4 SR5 V6 with Tow package. It was still on the trailer! It's white with black seats and red stiches, red accents on doors n dash. Cab is more quiet, suspension is plush. So far 850 miles on it and average 18-22mpg.
The big grill looks like the mouth of a whale eating plankton. It can probably swallow the Colorado whole!

Thanks and hope y'all enjoy reading my posts.

Yeah thanks, everytime I get a new tacoma, it gets bigger and badder. Maybe in 3 or 5 years, I'll get the TRD DCLB 4X4. I'll be darned if I got a 5th white one.
