Totally new to audio and after watching hours of ********* videos and TW posts, I still have a question.

Vehicle: 2011 Access Cab Non-JBL. HU & speakers are bone stock as is the flux capacitor.

I want to get some more bass out of the sub while keeping the stock HU. So, can I install an amp for the existing sub (and what size amp would work well)? Or do I have to install a new amp and sub while still keeping the existing HU?
