NSA can get in, not legally but they can. This is the governments way to do it legally. They get in without Apple's consent and theyd be in a world of shit considering Apple probably has more money than the government and better lawyers haha.

I agree! I feel it would just open the flood gates and allow for future use not originally intended. Call me what you will! I'm sure this thread will get locked! :crapstorm::infantry:

I guess who cares? Maybe it can be seen that Apple is supporting terrorism by not assisting. Why would they not want to help in this circumstance.

I normally keep my I phone wrapped in aluminum foil so they can't see what all I am looking up. It's mostly Tacoma stuff and porn :bananadance::kona::dancingbacon::broccoli:

If they caved on this, it would set a legal precedent which would make it harder to resist future requests for backdoors.

My thoughts on the matter are borderline against the rules I am here to enforce.

There is a parallel between this and another very sensative subject regarding the Second ammendment.

People are asking a company to give in and accommodate the investigators for the sake of the privacy of everyone else.

Now, if they were to begin to bring up the idea of going after the weapons we have at hand I honestly believe there would be a significant voice of opinion.

Privacy is a right we have to ourselves and to violate that in the name of terrorism and national security is a solemn violation of the inherent rights of all citizens.

In the security world (computer and elsewhere), you have to assume that if something can happen, it will.

So if Apple/Google/Microsoft create intentional security backdoors in their products, we have to automatically assume everyone with an interest in that will eventually be able to get inside. "Bad guys". Foreign adversaries. Hostile governments. Even bad actors in our own country.
