Bamatoy's not a Tacoma build

So I will begin this thread by saying this is my 14th vehicle and my 12th Toyota. Also, this is actually my 3rd go around being on this site as well but this is my first "build thread." I will apologize in advance for the crap pics. Phone crashed and can't access all the pictures i took at the time of the installs. I hope to go back and get the right ones added eventually, but y'all get the idea.

As it sits today - 2/22/17


Day one - The day I drove 4+ hours to pick it up and stopped at a BassPro. (Excuse the finger, was in a bit of a hurry and took the pic with my phone.


I reckon I should add that I came from a Taco prior to this one. Still one of the saddest days of my life watching someone drive away in that truck.


Next came the beginning of the mods!

First up was a forum favorite - PLASTIDIP!!!


Next I added the Weathertech Floormats


Next were the headlights and tail lights



Next was the Pioneer 4100


Next were the interior LED changes (Highly recommend this one to everyone!)




Then I added the Borla exhaust with the side exit and Rola Rack around the same time




I don't have any pics of my air filter mod or my fog light mod but there are great pics and threads on those that are much better than what i would have done anyway

Next I got a bit brave and decided to cut holes in my rear bumper and add some auxiliary reverse lights. Actually very pleased with how they turned out

I hated the above pic with the halogen reverse lights so i added some LEDs to match

I believe this is everything I have accomplished thus far. I hope to be installing my 3" Toytec in the next couple of weeks so I will continue to add progress photos as they come!

Just a few more things to add to it right now. I finally got my 3" Toytec spacer lift installed and it made my tires seem to suck up into the wheel well so i added some wheel spacers a few days after.

Kept it like this for a few weeks and got the itch to do more so I decided to make myself a Satoshi grill with some black housing LED fog lights behind it. And by make myself, I mean I bought the extra grille and did some sanding but had a buddy/professional @TacoAlaMode do the major work. Still waiting on my mesh to come in to finish it up but here are some of the pics I snapped during the install.
Damn horns were in the way on the right side so my L brackets are different sizes to accommodate those damn things. Luckily, though the brackets are even, the lights are dead nuts level and I can live with that just fine!




Had to match the switches with my others to keep the stock look as much as possible.




Combined the new lights with my old(ish) aux reverse lights and i love the light output that both put out. Camping is going to be really well lite come fall.

No, my rear ones aren't uneven, the gravel pit I was at was very uneven with a lot of pot holes and makes it seem that way....dont hate

Love the extra light though!

 

What Interior LED kit did you buy?

 

I just got all mine off of superbrightleds.com. I think I spent maybe 40 bucks on all mine

 

Finally have something worth updating on this durn thing. One of these days I will put it all together but for now, here are some more pieces.

I finally got around to getting my 1" Toytec body lift installed and decided to add a few goodies afterwards thanks to uncle Sam. I got my 18" RR2s and Nitto Ridge Grapplers installed, along with my custom built front plate bumper and 4xInnovations weld on sliders.

 

This thread sucks!!!! But, the T4R is legit af ​
