Thats kind of what i figured. Hence why i keep going back and forth between tall and standard bars. Ive actually considered doing a second backup camera thats on a switch so i can have it on when needed

Looks like you could space those bars a bit differently and have quite a bit less overhang. Or is that as far back as you can place it on the bed rail system?

With the tent on and standard height your entire rear window will be blocked. I'd go tall for sure if I were you :)

Yea I had my BAMF bed rack made right above the rear window (and just a tad under cab height). When I look at the rear view mirror, I can't see the top of the rack

Sorry to change the subject but I like how that bed rack holds the spare. Genius!

Take the center head rest out and you see a lot more... At least that's the route I went.

Yeah that is far spread out as the rails allow. Really the overhang doesn't bother me, no flex in that area at all when someone is in that spot.

Thanks. I had BAMF do a custom mount for me. Works like a hitch

Does anyone have any experience or heard anything about mounting their CVT tent to artificial rain gutters roof racks on their camper shell? I went by CVT and talked with them and they said i should be fine and that others have done it but i just wanted to get some feedback on here.

I would recommend against it. I use this setup with Thule Load Bars on a Leer 100R.

The weight of the RTT is too focased with those mounting points, they've started to crack my cap.

Get something that distributes the weight better, like the Thule Tracker system or a Prinsu rack.

I don't have experience with the Mt. Jefferson, but I do have the Mt. McKinley, the canvas is nice. In January my son I camped in overnight lows of 20* with winds gusting to 15mph, so much better than our 3 season ground tent in similar conditions. The canvas didn't flap around as much. Made for a quiter night sleep.

Nice! I'm thinking of going to the tall version from Relentless (I have the low version) since I can't see out the back window at all. How is the visibility out the back with the taller version?

^^ This^^ ... It's pretty easy to slide mine off the bed bars onto the tailgate and down. I have a special place to store it in my garage.
