Part numbers for factory tow hitch?

Not a big fan of aftermarket hitches. I am looking for the part numbers for everything that is needed to add the factory tow hitch to my SR. 4x4 5MT

I would have bought the tow package, but it was not an option with my configuration.

Anyone done this?

I don't care so much about wiring just yet and understand that is an issue as there is no harness.

I dont believe the hitch has changed .
You could always try this , then call Toyota to verify

There is no OE PnP addition, there is not yet an aftermarket PnP version, but there is an aftermarket splice in version. In case you're interested.

And at about half the price of OE, I've found Curt hitches to work just fine.

 

Can anyone confirm or deny it is the same part number as the second generation?

Everywhere I look it lists for up to 2015 only so I am not optimistic.

 

To let you know, members are being told by toyota reps that splicing into the harness will void any warranty. You should have bought the truck with the tow package

 

Tow package is not an option on my spec truck. I just want the hitch, I don't actually want/need the wiring (at least not at this point).

Thank you for the bible link, but none of that mentions the 3rd gen factory hitch, at least not that I see.

 

Maybe another way to go about it is take a picture underneath your truck and post. Specifically the frame ends. Look for mount holes. I just replaced my bumper and have hitch. I can measure and post any pics you may need
