Replacing universal joints fixed a ton of vibrations for me. Just an FYI

1st thing to do to break out of this cycle is quit going to the dealer.

2nd thing to do is find a quality, honest independent shop.

3rd thing to do is find a shop with a Roadforce balancer, a tech that knows how to use it properly, and find out what's wrong with the wheel/tire set up. Balance may or may not fix them, but the machine will tell you what's wrong with them. This may or may not be the same as the shop you find in #2. Not all good mechanical shops have higher end tire gear. However, they'll know where to point you. Or you can look it up by zip code on Hunter's website.

When you have that done, if there are still issues, it's time to let the shop in #2 have a go at it.

So, I'm not saying this didn't happen, but I've never run across a dealer that couldn't figure this out. I had a problem with my first gen Tundra and the dealer ended up replacing the entire anti-lock brake system.

 

This is really kind of funny. You take a perfectly good truck. Lift it, put aftermarket rims, & mud tires on it, so now it looks really good! But now it vibrates at certain speeds. Did they use a impact gun on the wheels, instead of a torque wrench? Was an alignment done and done properly. OP you are getting a little bit of hassles here but stay the course and do not lose hope.

I am by no means an expert mechanic but I can give you some common sense suggestions.

My first suggestion is that you disclose if the truck has any mods. If it is heavily modded then it is what it is I have no advice other than de-mod it or learn everything about it and its mods.

My next suggestion is like another said take it to a different shop already!

To me it does not sound like the vehicle is safe to drive on the highway, do not do that.

Get street tires for driving on the street especially if your mad tyte All Terrains are old and/or worn.

Your truck is way to new to have this many problems it must have been any or all of these things: beat to shit, heavily modded and then demodded for sale by retards, or is still heavily modded.

You might even consider, and I know this sounds crazy lol, but get the fuck under it and visually inspect the suspension and drivetrain. Then have a mechanic that knows his shit do the same if you see nothing obvious.

My gut tells me you truck is lacking preventitive maint, has never gotten any love, and may have been worked on by vern and his buddies in a driveway modding and/or demodding.

 

Have you gotten a carfax to see if the truck was ever in a wreck, which might have bent something in the suspension, or even the frame? Knowing it's history might go a long ways towards diagnosing its problems.

 

Another suggestion, as its hard as heck to diagnose over the internet; you could have a bent rim causing some of this.

U/CV joints also potential culprits. Poorly bedded pads should've been solved by now with the rotor refacing the dealer did.

 

Find another TW member local to you, drive each other's trucks, compare and maybe the two of you can identify the problem.
