    Hi,

I bought a new Pyrite Mica SR5 DCSB in March of last year, I like the truck but I really bought it so I would have a car payment, I was in a rush because a looming divorce.
So I'm calmer now and have been looking around at the new ones, they don't set me afire. I came across a 2014 TRD off Road I like alot better...It has more options than mine, looks in great shape, very close in mileage, It will cost me 2400 more but has an extended warranty, buying it from a dealer... What do you Think/say?

I have an aftermarket remote starter in mine, will the dealer baulk at that, should I try to hide that antenna stuck to the top of my windshield?

    Thanks
    Doug

The remote start matters little. I think the factory remotes are actually aftermarket.

I don't get excited about warrentees. Is that why they want more money?

Yes, the ones the dealer installs are aftermarket but this one was not installed by them, I just don't want them to make an issue out of it.(Toyota Certified Used type of thing). They want more money because of the TRD package and some other things, Navigation, I think the radio is better some other stuff. Basically they want more money, who doesn't... I've just started the negotiations, they are a little low on my tradein and a little high on the 14, I hope to shave it down some...But I know they are not just going to trade trucks... The only used truck I've bought was an 03 Tundra and I bought the extended warranty with it, glad I did, it broke-bad.... Thanks,

    Doug

That's good to know, I was wondering how much a year newer would mean against having TRD and not... I looked them up in Kellys and NADA, they were close with the 14 being slightly higher. I'm still wondering about the starter...
