Really looking for some good advice..... I have the BUG Bad..... But I don't want to jump off a cliff either..... Never owned a Toyota but always wanted one.... Found a beautiful 2005 Baby Blue TRD off road pkg, new tires , cap, 6spd, 6cyl looks like new inside and out... Drives like new, BUTT it has 250,000 miles on it... Private sale $10,000... Should I run away and cry somewhere else, or seriously look at it ???

Baby Blue? I'd probably run screaming.
In all seriousness if you like the truck and it's solid, I say go for it. 250,000 isn't uncommon for these trucks.

    I wouldn't pay $10k for a truck that old.

I wouldn't buy a truck that old honestly. Thing could blow up tomorrow. Even if it has had zero problems until now and has been impeccably maintained.
I just wouldn't want to put money into something I'm not going to get very long use out of.
But I'm the kind of guy that when they commit to a vehicle, they commit and I want it there for 15 years.
