After-market brakes

    Lots.
    We have hit this topic a few times over the years but never for me to get a good handle on it. In all honest I probably wouldn't send the money unless I needed to get new brakes for a reason but what are the options and will it help?

    These rotors are slotted and look pretty cool but will they help with braking distance?

    That BBK is for the X-Runner (though it might fit on any 5-lug).

    Some good quality brake pads, and some slotted/drilled rotors will improve your braking a lot while keeping you on a budget.

    As for a BBK, the only BBK i've heard of for a 6 lug was designed for the FJ Cruiser, and i'm not sure if that will fit the Pre-runners or not.
