Hey everyone, so after about a month of lurking around the forum and searching through countless suspension threads I've learned a lot and have a lot less questions than I had when I started. While I've never had a truck to mod I've put suspension on a handful of cars so I know the basics but I've realized that a truck is a little different lol..
I know that this particular setup has prob been discussed on here but I have not been able to find it so I just wanted to know if anyone had and experience with this setup. Any feedback or pics would be awesome!
I'm just wanting the lift for mainly looks. Prob be on the road 95% of the time so I don't really need the top of the line lift but I also don't just want to but something cheap just to be able to lift my truck. It gives you the option of aal or a block kit and it seems like most people prefer the aal.. Anyone running this exact setup? Again, sorry if this has been covered.

looks not bad, 5100s are used by loads of guys on here. This question comes up a lot. But do the AAL as blocks are just a chunk of steel put over the axle and add nothing for performance. have the coilovers assembled. You could go a step up and do the BOSS or Ultimate kit, I was gonna do that at first but went up to a 6".

just looked there and the Ultimate kit would be badass with the UCA. 1578.99 for the 3" kit with rear AAL, coilovers, rear shocks and a UCA is pretty good. Plus if you shop around on wheelersoffroad or socalsupertrucks the kit might be a bit cheaper. Even Amazon has the boss kit, depends on what you wanna spend. but for the extra 700 I would say this is a better and more desirable kit to have.

awesome! I appreciate it! Yea, I looked at the ultimate but it's almost double the price so I just thought if this would do the job I could save some money. But I'm not against saving a little while longer if the kit I posted isn't worth it

itll do the trick, I get caught up in consumerism but any kit will do fine. My dad has been running spacers on stock struts for about 15 years with no issues. If that is the one you wanna buy, it will serve your purpose. All 3" lifts do require a new UCA for proper alignment.
