How do I edit hyperlinks?

    Sorry if this is explained somewhere, maybe somebody can point me in the right direction because I couldn't find it anywhere. When creating hyperlinks on a post, how do you "edit" the hyperlink to where it isn't the full website name and instead make it what you want it to say but it takes you to that webpage? Like when people make links that say "here" and it takes you to a certain build thread...I'm clueless..

    Thanks for any help..
