I have a MBRP turndown exhaust and took it to the dealer for basic servicing. When they were finished, the tech said that the exhaust would eventually cause issues with the rear diff. Is this true? It seems to make sense, but is it really something to worry about?

    ...too much shit to list.
As usual, dealer is a moron. It doesn't dump on the axle. it dumps before. The heat dissipates so fast after it exits it doesn't make a damn bit of difference.
Source: I have the MBRP on my tundra and I've had a turn down on my tacoma for over 5 years. There was 2 degrees difference in temperature between passenger and driver side axle housing after "spirited" sessions according to my heat gun.

That's what I figured. And the temp at the axle itself is probably negligible by the time any heat difference dissipates through the housing.
