Basicly I'm curious of the off road speed capabilities on my 2016 TRD off road. Will i over heat my stock shocks or suspension?

It's not a race truck, I'm sure you will have other parts to worry about too.

^^This. Your shocks overheating will be the least of your worries if you are hauling the mail and taking big hits.

Why would you use a $40000 vehicle to race the trails, when you could build a dedicated trail rig for much less?

I'm sure Toyota is partially to blame with all their crazy adds. Then they get pissy when someone wants warrentee work because they were running the truck like the commercial and the truck broke.

A lot of people need a daily driver but want to take it off road. I think a lot of people bring their TRD ORs to the desert and what not. I wouldn't risk it at speed, but sometimes a trail rig isn't what people really want.

This is basically what i thought…. I live in florida… i don't get any desert racing. I mainly take her gently through mud in the everglades and occasionally up dirt hills… which are the equivalent to a mountain in this state.

I think the general consensus is that it is extremely capable but don't push it
