I am installing a set of Morimoto H1 projectors in my 2007 Toyota Tacoma and the wiring harness only has one plug to connect to the right side headlight (driver side) 9003/H4. Where do I plug the passenger headlight 9003/H4 at? When I don't plug it into anything it doesn't work, but when i plug in the original halogen light into the truck my projectors work. What do i do with this passenger side wire?

He way mine is, the TRS harness connects to both ballasts through only one of the original halogen connectors.

I taped the passenger halogen connector off

I don't think I understand what you're saying. Maybe someone else can chime in.

Do you have a TRS harness? Mine only uses the drivers side 9003/H4 plug and the harness has a run that gets routed to the passenger side to connect to the passenger headlight ballast and a ground. So with mine I connected the harness to the drivers side 9003/H4 and I taped off the passenger side 9003/H4.

No. I plugged one end of the harness into a 9003/H4 plug on the driver's side headlight. The 9003/H4 plug on the passengers side was left unused so I used electrical tape to make sure water and dirt wasnt going to get in there.

See how there's only one "input from car". You only use the driver's side for the harness.

Hello OP, I had same issue today do not understand really either had wife help me. What it is, is that you do not have to run ballast wire to other side of vehicle. On opposite side of vehicle from relay and battery wires. you install a female plug on the wires that do not have a plugin on it. That plugs into your headlight wire from truck then the other end plugs into ballast to prong connector. So basically the long ballast wire does not go to anything unless you use canbus . That is not needed for our trucks. I hope that helps

Why doesn't the ballist wire there goes a crossed to the other side not connecting anything, is it because its getting power from the other headlight that's all wired up with oem input

If the way your set up is what you drew thats wrong, the ballast wire (long one) runs from your driver side to your pass to the ballast. Although your method you drew will work for only low beam HID's, essentially though you are not protecting your pass side with a harness at all. As per that drawing all you are protecting with your harness is the driver side while leaving the pass side only protected by OEM wiring.

You need to run the long ballast wire to your pass side and connect that to your ballast, then passenger ballast to bulbs and it should work. If you have done that and ran into issues can you tell me what the issue was? also if you could tell me what harness your running that would help. Is it single xenon harness or bixenon harness?

If I plug ballast wire into ballast I am left with two male connections, single xenon, ordered two kits.came with 2 double relays sets, 4 ballast, 4 ignitors,4 bulbs,4 wires from igniter to bulb
