    Howdy,

I found a fix for my sleeve yoke binding on my 2000 4runner and I figured I'd share it with you Tacoma folks.

This first video shows me taking the sleeve yoke out and greasing it with a multi-purpose moly grease. The binding stopped for a day but came back.

In the second video, I used a specific grease made by Ford to reduce Sleeve Yoke or Slip Yoke Binding and I have been symptom free for the last 800+ miles. The grease is called Ford XG-8. You can find it on-line or just get it at a Ford dealership.

Maybe this could be the definitive fix for your rig too if you've been experiencing that weird bump or thump coming from the rear-end as you're coming to a stop or starting to roll from a stop sometimes strong enough for you to think you've been rear-ended.

Here's the videos. Hope they are helpful.
