Entune & Map Update Question

I was wondering if the latest updates for Entune Radio & navigation Map updates can be downloaded from the TIS (Technical Information System) https://techinfo.toyota.com

I have done the standard subscription in the past, but was wondering if I subscribe to the Professional Diagnostic level if the files could be download? And if so, can it be updated / installed from an USB drive? Or is there other equipment need for the install. Dealer wants like $160 to update the navigation, a 2 day subscription for the Professional is only $55

the nav update you need to get a activation card and enter stuff onto tis. and toyota has the stuff locked down unless you work at a dealer. they had a issue with a guy getting tis and stealing cars so all update stuff is locked down to dealer techs only

 

Well that sucks, do you know if it the same for getting the Entune update?
