Took the new dog leash for a spin. Much easier to run. Its hard to control your dog to turn but that is also a problem with a regular leash. He pulled pretty good for the first quarter mile, which was nice since it forced me to up my pace. We only did half a mile because the weather is bad (strong wind and snow). The last quarter mile he found a comfortable pace that kept him by my side.

I usually use a body harness on the dog because she pulls so much on a leash. Haven't tried any elastic leashes though. She stops pulling a little while into the run as well though

The elastic leashes for walking are a pita. I liked it for a bit but Ash learned he can go farther by pulling. With a regular leash, he can budge me a bit until I get in a supported stance. The bungee on the running leash is stronger so he can't stretch it very much before it pulls him back.

I need to use a harness but his wide collar will work just fine.

My wife runs with our dog. He is a big baby though and after about a mile he starts pulling to shade. Or he will start walking like he is about to do is business and then once he suckers you into stopping he just lays down and goes dead weight so your run is over

 We had a fat lab that would do that when I was a kid. She was so big that when she laid down little ol 90lb me couldn't get her to move. This usually meant I was taking a break and letting her rest.

Yeah lucky for me little RED is only about 30 lbs so I just drag her till I'm done running. She is kinda a wimp when it comes you running anything over two miles I'd like to run 3-5 miles a day with her just need to get in the habit

lol - well he isn't fat. He is only 40ish lbs but he knows how to anchor himself when he doesn't want to move.

That's pretty weird. All the heelers round here are all go and no stop. Super smart dogs but man, if they aren't trained and given a job, they can be little assholes. Ash likes running but I think he is out of shape like me. After a mile or two his pace drops to that of a fast walk. But if we are on a trail he can run for hours without tiring.

She's pretty good about training, but if I don't do something to wear her energy out after a couple days she gets crazy

Broscience is doing a deal for the next 29 hours where it started at 29% off and each hour it goes down 1%. I think it started at 5pm EST. Code is LEAPDAY

We have a yorkie that's like 12 lbs and a brittany spaniel that's about 25. My wife's mom walks them almost everyday. She usually does 5-7 miles. They're in great shape...me, not so much.

    Did shoulders and bi's today.

    all 3-4 sets of 8-15:

    military press
    incline bench reverse flys
    reverse incline bench dumbbell raises
    machine shrugs
    incline bench hammer curls
    preacher curls
reverse incline bench ez bar curls
    cable curls

Got the biceps up to 16.5"....too bad they'll shrink back down to 16" in a few hrs :pout:

    Your snapchats

    so weird....so entertaining
