    Hi,
I have a '13 DCSB 6 spd manual. I added the SC @ 20k now have 34k on the clock. The OEM clutch slips in 6th if I give 100% throttle while on the freeway, i.e. trying to pass. I can see revs climb stupid quick but the acceleration is not there, plus I can feel the fucker slipping. The clutch does not slip in any other gear, they all grab and apply power fine, except 6th @ highway speeds when floored.
Is there any adjustment I can do to fix this? Really annoying to slip the clutch when trying to pass

I assume you are pushing me to upgrade the clutch to a URD?

Is this a clamping power issue? Don't get why it doesn't happen in the lower ratios @ full throttle like it does in 6th. A clutch is a clutch, should do its job in any gear?

Had the same issue. Installed SC at about 300 miles, at 6k miles I could no longer go in to boost in any gear but 1 or the clutch would slip. I slipped it way to much and hammered on it like a race car. I'm also convinced the stock clutch in the second gens isn't meant to handle more than stock power and any aggressive driving kills the clutch. But I also had every intention of swapping my clutch out for a URD clutch. Love the new clutch, it engages pretty much instantly and with the light weight flywheel My acceleration definitelt improved. Downside is its very hard to slip it, and it pops about instantly in all gears, so rev matching is a must

More load is applied to the clutch in higher gears as the torque multiplication to the ground (through gearing) is reduced. Clutches will start slipping in the highest gears first before the lower ones.

The stock clutch on my old supercharged 2013 started slipping at 9,000 miles. I installed a Stage 3 Competition Clutch but it was too much clutch for my liking. It handled all the abuse I through at it but required lots more pedal effort and no matter how much I adjusted it I would have a hard time getting it into 1st gear from a stop. I even removed the clutch accumulator and still didn't have enough pedal travel. If I had to do it again I would go with a Stage 2 URD.

The stage 3 just takes finer clutch control in 1st. Took me a few weeks, but Ive got it down pretty well now

My problem was I had a hard time getting the shifter physically into 1st gear when I was stopped. I would have to shift to 3rd then it would go into 1st. The clutch was not disengaging all the way. This is after I took all the free play out of the clutch pedal and removed the clutch accumulator (shuttle valve) to gain more pedal travel (which is recommended when you run a twin disc clutch).

I am more familiar with turbo's so I am not sure this will translate, but in a turbo car you never want to floor it a high gear, it puts too much load on the motor and clutch. I would say just downshift if you need to pass and keep the stress off the engine. If your clutch only slips in 6th gear at WOT then don't do WOT in 6th.

Or get a better clutch in there that can handle the power. Why compromise shit?
