actually that is not true. our 12 TRD OR has it, it was part of an option package or accessory addon.

edit : even on the current 2015 option page you can see ...

No one else drives my truck, ever. I adjusted the seat to my liking 70k miles ago and there it's stayed. Do not charge me more for power seats in the future, they are stoopid.

Some of you who think you do not need power seats do not understand something. Manual seats simply do not adjust into all of the various places that power seats do and it is not even close. I travel for business and rent vehicles every week. Half of the time I end up having manual seat adjustments and you just cannot get in the right position. Example, I like to lift my seat high. The manual levers that lift the seats also tend to tilt you forward at the same time. I prefer to tilt the seat backwards instead. Cannot accomplish that with manual. That is just ONE example.

I was going to buy a 2015 and held off waiting for the 2016. However, I am not re-thinking the whole damn thing. I probably would walk into the dealer this weekend to buy a Tundra instead if the damn thing did not get such shitty fuel mileage.

That being said, I really do want the Tacoma. My current truck is about to fall apart. Thinking about buying a used Tacoma with low miles until the Gen 3 is fixed with the proper options.

well if its anything like the power seats lately in toyota's, they lift and go forward also. there is no rear tilt function.

    my 2014 4runner, son's 2015 camry do this.

    ...

you could adjust the seat back to tilt back wards :)

I wonder how much it would cost to buy the Homelink mirror as a stand-alone accessory/replacement piece from the parts catalog and swap it out?

Depends how OEM you want to get. If you install it yourself and get it off of Amazon - an autodim mirror with homelink probably around $175-200. If it has autodim, homelink and compass around $250-275 and all that with temp. probably around $350.

Ah nice. I feel silly I didn't think to look on Amazon. Don't need the temp display since that is in the dash cluster at least.

only $40k if you are willing to pay full MSRP. Not me I would start at 10% off and if they started coming back with counters I would just lower my original offer. Of course that would not work on a 2016 right now because they know that anyone who walks in the door looking for a 2016 before they hit the lots is probably not walking out empty handed.

Must be nice for Toyota to have customers like you who will gladly buy anything Toyota makes...and go on social media and defend their poor choices too.

I believe that it was said that the bed cover comes with the Limited, to achieve CAFE standards, so that cost might already figured into the MSRP.

just remember, you have to wait for them to release the 2016 rear view mirror and not the 2015 mirror. 2015 and older had the backup display in them, the 2016 don't have it since the backup camera display is in the center dash 6/7" screen.

so the 2016 should be cheaper than the 2015 since it doesn't have the 2" display.

With power seats you have more options position wise, where as the manual there are set clicks. I mean shit man with a 30K+ plus price tag they should be standard. The only benefit to manuals is if you are constantly moving it forward or backwards, which isn't the case with 90% of the driving world.
