Love it! Been trying to find other impulse red Tacomas to get some ideas. I'm a chrome wheel guy but I don't think these can pull it off. May have to go black with this truck. But I picked this one up a few days ago.

yep, it's just the pro comp 3" kit comes with new coils, new shocks all around, and an add a leaf in the rear. picked it up for $421 on sale. don't have any complaints, it's great for what it is . it gives a pretty firm ride and feels pretty solid, drives like a truck should. in the future I plan on upgrading maybe to fox coil overs. this should help

TRD OR taco- thanks for that information. Exact one I was looking at. Did it also set you at dead level front and back? My only concern left. Thanks again!

the thing I like about this kit is that it is one of the only ones that give you a full 3 inch lift in the front. the ome kit as I understand you have to put a spacer to achieve 3". that was my concern to about being level and the answer is yes. not exactly level it's about 3/4 of an inch higher in the rear. but looks level

    First off...the truck looks great!

Any rubbing when you flex? Do you do much wheelin'? Did you have to chop/cut anything?

    Later.

nope, don't have and clearance problems and I haven't cut anything. I do wheel and have purposely flexed it out and no rubbing whatsoever. only time it will rub is full right lock in reverse.. rubs on the front spoiler . doesn't do it in full left reverse. this could be fixed by cutting of the front spoiler but it's not that bad of a problem so probably won't do anything. also I have no problems with the cab mount. maybe if I want bigger and go with 35's ill get a cab mount chop and do some trimming but right now I don't have any problems.

    What kind of lift?

Does that size tire fit in the spare wheel area?

pro comp 3 inch coil over kit and i have heard it doesn't. haven't tried it. don't run a spare underneath anyway for clearance.

It doesn't look like it in the pic but the rear is actually .5" higher than the front
