Hey guys, just recently bought my Tacoma and I'm planning on lifting it soon. It's impulse red and I can't decide if I want chrome or black rims to throw on it. Send in some pictures for me to help me decide!!!!

I'll aid as I just bought an impulse red one and would like to eventually do stuff with it. Though I'll first say I'm a huge fan of chrome wheels over black ones. But I just don't think this color can do chrome. I'm positive I'll have glossy black wheels on mine. a430861fb8feb6ac4d168e596856e12a_e2ef187e82052c2569ba31e36d2bcf8946c85123.jpg

That's what I'm thinking... I love the clean chrome look but the color of our trucks looks WAY different in the sunlight... Atleast mine does for some reason and I'm not sure how it would go with the chrome look

I had the older Cooper Discoverer STTs on my Chevy in 37x13.50. Had about 10k miles and showed no wear. Gripped great even in snow. If the pros are anything like them you'd be happy. But yeah on this color black for sure

    37's !

But anyways great that's good to hear because I can get a set of 35x12.50x20 for a really good price. Do you have any clue where I could buy the front and rear 5100 bilestines? I want the height adjustable in the front to raise it another .85 or so inches depending on where the first setting is just to clear the 35's with 12 wides .

Ive recently done some things to my IRP tacoma. Lift, wheels, tires, color matching and a TRD sport hood.

Don't limit yourself to chrome and black... Red looks particularly good with dark bronze and or gold wheels. Gunmetal/ dark Grey is another good option with red imo.
