How many miles on this and when was the last time you did a tune up on it? Is it operating at the correct engine temperature, and are you using a synthetic motor oil?

148000 only owned for two years. Ive cheched plugs seemed great really so no tune up. Temp always been fine and radiator level never changes. Put a half synthetic in last one but ran reg before.

Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
40 degrees isn't cold enough for it to freeze. Just go run it down the freeway for about 20 minutes, it'll get hot enough to evaporate it all out of there. Don't let it idle so long anymore, but I still can't see how freezing the entire exhaust system is even possible. It regularly hits -20 below zero here during the winter months and I've lived here for 23 years and never heard of or seen anything like that.
