    Spotted in Tacoma, WA this afternoon...

    Tow trucks come in all shapes and sizes evidently.

    Money. This is why friends don't let friends buy VW's.

    I believe its a Miata towing a Passat. The Miata is lowered too. Because the situation couldnt get any more ridiculous.

    Some people dont realize that attaching 2 front wheel drive vehicles with a tow strap doesnt make a 4x4.

    Maybe this was one of the "kids on leashes" scenarios where the parents are driving the VW and they're trying to keep the new driver in the miata from taking off on them :spy:

    The guy with the miata is probably that friend whos always down to hang out. I bet when you ask friends to help you move he shows up first with his f'n miata.

    @scocar care to chime in?

    You appear to be headed southbound with the Tacomadome off to the right and there's a bit of traffic that merges right there as well as traffic that moves to get onto the 16 towards The Narrows.

    I have driven by there more times than I can count. That area gets a little stupid with traffic, shit, the northbound with the "truck lane" and off ramp gets more retarded cause you get those why try to use it to get ahead only to merge back onto I5.

    Yet distracted driving. I guess the unsafe tow crew inspired you to dive in.

    Distracted how? By snapping a picture facing forward with my eyes never leaving the road? Are you the uninformed posterchild for safety?

    Just saying. I snap a photo without my eyes ever leaving the road and I am automatically a distracted driver? Glancing at the radio is more distracting then taking this picture. Unless you have never looked at your radio while driving then I suppose this makes you a distracted driver too. Welcome to the club.

    I didnt get on my phone and upload the photo to TW while I was barreling through traffic, I dont text and drive, I wasnt talking on the phone. I waited until I was safely off the road hours later to share the photo with anyone.

    The last time I checked, distracted driving laws in Washington state didn't include snapping a picture.
