Smittybilt CO2 compact air system, are they worth investing?

Anybody out there use a CO2 compact air system by Smittybuilt? Im looking into investing into one for quicker tire inflation when I go off roading. I looked into the Power Tank but they are way to expensive. Would like to hear your opinion, Thanks.

hose $19, air chuck $9... I don't think the pre-packaged ones are worth it.

 

Hey PFD FIRE, I have had my Smittybuilt compact air system for 3 years now. Originally I purchased it for my Jeep JK for wheeling trips. Worked flawlessly for me. When I smartly converted to a Tacoma it found a home in my bed mount tool box for my beach trips after airing down on the sand.
I agree that you could probably source the parts and build your own system but this is a really great no hassle setup. I have been really pleased with it and is extremely convienent to keep onboard. I fill balls, snow tubes, girlfriends low tires etc.
I actually used it in conjunction with a crappy Harbor Frieght neumatic cut off wheel to get me out of a jam once. Long story
That is my 2 cents as they say. A nice lower cost option to Power Tank when your not using it all the time. Good luck

 

Thanks everyone for the advice on the Smitybuilt. My coworker of mine sold me his 20lb compressed air tank w/ accesories by Power Tank for $300 original price $600. I couldn't pass up the offer

 

For future reference, Instant air supply has reasonable prices, and has fairly regular sales and I believe they have done a group buy.
