@MaverickTRD : First thing... Go see a doc and get an MRI if you want it to get better \ fixed. In the meantime, 800mg Motrin 3X a day for 5 days.
Things like this can actually be "repaired" with anti inflammatory meds if caught early.

The deal is lower back issues are caused by bulging discs. The discs can be fine, even swollen when the back is straight. But when bending, the "cushion" between the discs will squish out or in pinching the nerves.

Early on, the pain doesn't necessarily go all the way down the leg. It's a progressive thing. She has had 3 back surgeries as well, all the same discs. She's got a ton of titanium now.

    Motrin dude!!!

@MaverickTRD : Sounds like herniated disks which can result in instant sharp stabbing/shooting pains on certain movements, tingling, numbness, falling asleep feeling in your feet. Some movements might not have any issues while others feel like a red hot poker being jabbed into your back. Like Techoma said, go to a Dr to get an MRI. Traction luckily got my back to somewhat normal function but with my L5/S1 completely shot to hell, I'll probably eventually need a fusion down the road, hopefully I'll be dead before that happens though lol. And yes, 800 mg Motrin, pop that shit like candy. While in country, I was told by the PA that I could take up to 1600 mg of Motrin an hour without adverse side effects/detriment, not sure how true that is, but that shit saved me until I got back stateside.

so i am going to try a non-invasive method for mounting our fishing rods to the inside of my truck cap.

The tape is supposed to hold ~12lbs per strip so we will see.. I should get them in today or tomorrow and will report my findings.

Id be curious to know if this works. I think the first good bounce and it will lose the battle against gravity

Ya I am pretty curious as well, I am mounting them over one of the side windows in the truck cap. Worst case our wally world rods will fall ~1 foot :D

My other option to try if this fails is industrial strength Velcro. I used it for mounting my HIDs to the engine bay and that stuff is insanely strong.
