Switch Mounting

    3in lift (Bilstein 5100, AAL), Bull Bar with halogen Hella Fogs and High Beams
    Has anybody mounted switches on the a pillar? I am gonna take it off and see how much room is behind it.

    Not much room there. I just had mine off a couple days ago.

    Be careful how you pry the trim piece off. It has four clips, and at the bottom is a moulded plastic hook about 1/2 inch long that's pointed down. At the top end, there is an elongated hole in the plastic moulding. That part must move toward the rear of the cab. Once that's loose and the four clips are out, then pull the trim upward about 3/4 inch to free the hook at the windshield.

    Like I said, there's not much room behind it to mount anything.
