Joey Dubs' Curb Crawler (Daily Taco Build..)

Did a quick "Raptor Light" kit. Cost about $30 in parts including buying factory bulb outlet and connector, 3157 bulb male adapter, and connectors so I could get around splicing into factory wires....

Started to play around with some 8300 Series Oracal Transparent Dark Gray vinyl... I've done vinyl for a while both professionally and on the side and just now learning how to wrap with these crazy curves... Got the mirror lenses and third brake light done yesterday.

 

Well had a buddy over, and after practicing on his much easier Ram taillights, we knocked out mine too, along with redoing the third brake light. Also did my fog lights after he left. Headlights will get done after I do the BHLM, in either black or MGM. I still must stress how hard this was, even having a background doing vinyl decals, signs, and banners for the last 11 years. I only do die cut, but this convex curve thing is a pain.

Did some eBay engineering. Haha. EBay bike mounts and Harbor Freight cargo bar. U-boat needed some convincing to fit but not a bad $25ish 2 bike mount.

 

Pro Comp 6" Coil Over/ProRunner lift kit, 18" Black Pro Comp Predator Wheels, 35" Pro Comp Xtreme MT2 Tires, and Smittybilt Nerf Bars on Order as of Saturday..

 

Decided to steal @Ricks2013 door flag decal idea, haha. A lot of others have it, but his sold me on doing it. Saw a cool design online, so kind of changed it to work on vinyl, and cut it the other night and put it on the doors.

 

Redline Hood Struts and N-Fab Nerf Bars installed.. So I have a grandpa truck until the lift gets installed.

 

Installed the Mopar D-Rings to the front bed bolts... (5170492AA)

 

Lift, wheels and tires patiently waiting...






Also, one of our dealer builds we did have my same wheel/tire combo, but in a 33" tire.. Happy with my choice.

 

Mounted up wheels and tires yesterday at work. Lift is being installed the 16th if all goes well.

 

Did a quick Trailer Harness Tuck with some extra flatstock I had laying around. Not the prettiest, and slightly crooked bent, but it works.. Painted with POR15 than clear coated. I will probably redo it when it's warm out, and my lift is installed. Maybe more bends to raise it a little higher, so it's less seen.

Lift is in!! 7 hour build between helping customers, and my buddy/tech working on other jobs.

 

Appears that the PC coilovers and spindles went through a redesign

Hahaha, it would do you some good in the sales dept to study up on the different DB lifts out there.
As a 4WP guy, you could put yourself ahead of 90% of your sales team.

 

We typically have always done PC lifts, so I went with it being there are no issues we typically run into. I will definitely look into it more, but ain't changing my lift. haha.

 

Relentless Fab Ditch Light Brackets and Pro Comp Spot Light LEDs installed last night. Just need to wire up once I finish my Relay/Fuse Box and order switches...
