    Hey guys!

I got a 2001 Pre-Runner, V6, 6-lug, 4 door, 2WD with RR Diff Lock. Recently, when the car is cold and I turn it on and go from P to R then to D something is wrong. When I go from R to D, the truck doesn't slowly roll forward like it would normally. So from there I would gas it but when I do its almost like the brake isn't releasing or the trans hasn't found itself. It makes a hard clunk noise and it's like the body wants to move bud something is holding it back. So I step on the brakes then let it go and it's fine.

Not the best description but anybody? Not sure what it is

all that can be said really is bleed the brakes with new fluid, check your rear drums for any bad/locking parts, and front calipers for stickiness/binding.

someone posted something similar a couple months ago. i cant remember what the outcome was. try searching the forums or hopefully someone else remembers better.

do you use your e-brake? as @CodeSeven mentioned could be a sticking rear brake
