I recently purchased HeadStrong Offroad's progressive add a leafs. Marie was excellent as always.

I installed the aal with the factory overload on TSB springs. The install went smoothly, although I did have to grind off a rivet on each side to remove a spring clamp from my factory leaf pack. I attached a pic of the clamp I had to remove and of the springs fully assembled.

I am very impressed with the ride quality. The aals firm the ride just enough to take some of the bounce out of the rear. I have radflo 2.5 coil overs up front and the aal really helped the rear match the front in ride firmness and quality.

I'll be taking on these next weekend. Any tips, parts, or tools necessary other than the ordinary?

I have these also. Very nice ride. Gave me about 2.5" with overload in.

Spray u-bolts a day or so before with wd40 or equivalent just to help with removing u-bolts.

You will need usual hand tools, c clamp, and a grinder if you have TSB springs. It was a pretty easy install. Let me know if you have any hangups or questions. Good luck!

I have the ICON version of this. Same exact thing and love them, we needed to grind stuff off as well. Left the overload in as well, love the ride.

Telkins88, that is a beautiful thing. Still riding at or close to 2.5" after settling?

    Thanks!
Yea I would say it's still around 2.5" of lift. Maybe 2.25 minimum

I like the sound of that... think I know what I'm doing for my rear suspension!
