truck i have is a 2009 TRD Prerunner it still has the 265/70/16's on there and i need new rubber and i want 17's on there.
i have already put a 3" toytech lift on it, which is the heavier coil and half inch spacer up front to give it a full 3 inches.
the tires ive looked at where all 285/70/17's but the owner of the shop whose done many of my trucks said that the Atturo Trail Blade M/T's where the way to go since im concerned about traction in snow and i go off road every time i hunt (nothing hardcore its all logging roads and little side trails with the occasional mud). the problem is i can only get the Atturo's in 33x12.5 and that is bigger than the 285/70 from my understanding. i dont want anything that will rub like hell when im trying to turn around in the back woods or when i need to make a 3 point turn in the city. can you guys tell me if the 33x12.5 would work on a 3in lift? ill be buying new alloys so if i need a certain backspacing and offset or something for it to work please steer me in the correct direction. thanks for the help guys.

His margin is higher on the aturro bc its from china or korea. That is all. Get a 285. 12.5s dont work on these trucks

it looks like a toyo kinda but is about a hundred bucks cheaper, they are 255 a tire.
going with the 285 series what kind of back spacing offset will work? or should i just stop pulling my hair out and get some 275 series tires?

Don't bother with the Atturos. My step brother had those in a 31" tire on his Tacoma, and they rode so so so bad. Pretty good OffRoad traction, but wore like crap on road.

    Just my 2¢...

I've owned both sizes. I would not recommend 33x12.5 on a 3" lift. Mine rubbed enough with 285s.

Yea I'm not even going to bother. I've actually settled on getting a 275 series tire.
Also considering buying a clean XJ and building that as my off road rig. But for now I can only daydream since I'm laid off from an injury.
