Has anybody ever gotten "OH SH*T handles" for your Tacomas? I just got a '16 and there's one like near the windshield but my wife would like one up above on the top of passenger side. Anybody know of any places that sells them? I've looked on 4wheelparts but they only have them for jeeps. Thanks for any info!

So... you want oh shit bars. But, you want them: not in stock location, you want them next to stock location. Am I reading the situation correctly? Are you asking if there is an aftermarket option for relocating the oh shit bars? Perhaps you are interested in bolting an extra set through the roof...

Care to paint a more detailed picture for us?

Pretty sure there's an airbag up there that would preclude locating a handle there.

Yeah just wondering if there's an aftermarket for those...and yes, both places - might look silly though LOL

Sounds like it'd be easier just to get a new wife.

Would be nice to have one on the drivers side, not sure why they wouldn't put one there. As for the airbag issue...there's one on both sides so it seems like there should be no issue with them putting one on both sides.

    Mostly stuff I built.
At the top of the driver and passenger windows would be great if there is no air bag interference. I use the one above the window in our FJ all the time while driving just to hang my arm from. Weird habit I guess but it keeps my shoulder from hurting.
