Anybody know anywhere (preferably on the West Coast) that I can find one of these? A trusted dealer anywhere?

    I'm in LA - they want a $2k markup - dumb.

If you have a Costco membership, go through their Auto Program. The pricing is fixed. $1100 over invoice in San Diego back in January.

Do you belong to a credit union? If so many work with autoland and they are pretty decent to deal with

I got my 2016 TRD sport dble cab from Kearny Mesa Toyota in San Diego. They took off 1600 dollars. My sales guy was Jimmy Kuniyoshi he was the best salesman ever, not pushy a real nice guy. My sales manager was Bilal Mehboob also the best sales manager ever .Nice guy also. Got a great deal on my trade also a 2014 sr5 dble cab katzkinz with 32,000 miles paid 28,800 they gave me 24,000 trade in. I went to 2 other San Diego dealerships before I went to KM Toyota and they didn't want to take off anything. Call Jimmy at Kearny Mesa and get a great deal ,don't waste your time anywhere else.

When I got my Truck from Longo Toyota there was no mark up but there were no real deals eithor. Should be able to find a 2wd 4door short bed under msrp at this time. Any special 4x4, TRD or premium truck not so much. Good luck with your search. My salesman Willian Phan. william.phan at longotoyota.net

    No dealer markup?

youre more than likely going to pay dealer markup.

How else are they gonna make money? its a business..

I'm pretty sure the OP is talking about markup *above* MSRP.

I got mine from Bill Wright Toyota in Bakersfield for 1k over invoice from Shane. Bit of a drive but you'll save a couple thousand.

Just curious when people refer to invoice... Invoice you find at truecar, or the real, non public invoice?

Yeah, dealerships in LA are going for thousands over msrp. No shame at all and putting it on the sticker. DCH in Torrance wouldn't budge from 4k over msrp, Carson Toyota was like pulling teeth to get to msrp then they sold the truck out from under me to some sucker who paid over msrp.

Truecar, they'd never actually show you the real invoice they get with their incentives.

here in FL. they run from $450 to $750 the dealers I shopped. Where I brought mine they had signs posted "NO DEALER MARK UP - EVER!!" but they did have a $600 doc. fee (same, same, different wording) & they charged me all the FL. State fees. = just a play on words. They gave me the best deal (difference out of my pocket after trade in) of any of the dealers I shopped. Plus my salesman was great & got me the truck I wanted. I ran into several ass-hole sales managers at other dealerships.

I got $1800 off of MSRP over here in PA. Would never pay for any vehicle at over msrp. That's ridiculous to me.

Dealer invoice isn't much on a Toyota. Couple grand at best on a loaded Tacoma. Dealer invoice on my f150 was 8k below sticker. That was me missing out on the D-plan at the time. Would of save another couple of grand. Toyota has no plans like that unless you work directly for them. Even then I can't see them being that much better.

Here is what I've found. Go online to each dealer in the la area. Email the Internet/fleet Dept about the exact truck you are looking for. Deals are out there to be had if you are willing to do your homework. I have been looking for a deal on a truck so I continue to wait. I got w little creative and have a deal in place with a dealer in Arizona at invoice price. The only headache is driving 4 hours from SoCal and dealing with the dmv once I get back.

    Longo. $500 over invoice.

DO NOT PAY ABOVE MSRP. Who said 2k above MSRP isn't bad? Ugh.
