Only if you want to be filled with regret...
    Just kidding.

I don't know enough about Nissan to attest to reliability. I'd probably keep the Tacoma myself unless it's giving you problems

What if it breaks and you have to dump the 6k you just pocketed into the pathfinder?

I'd keep the Tacoma, that is if it still has life in it.

Someone will always have authority over you. They aren't just going to throw you the keys to the kingdom right out of the gate.

Also don't believe everything people tell you. He could be lying to you. For all you know that car could have 5 miles left on it before the engine blows up.

If its only a grand its gotta be junk. If its the same 3-point-something liter v6 that is in the 2000s era Xterra that engine is a POS. An absolute dog with no power that eats distributors and coolant. Screw that.

I am just assuming it isnt a low mileage preserved example of a Pathfinder for a G. Also unsure if a 200K mile prerunner is worth seven, but I know they are holding pretty nice value.

Id keep the truck and get a damned job. Go work as a lot tech at a dealership. If you cant take authority go join the army.

Son, you're in for a long hard life lesson, you have to answer for everything you do, eventually. but to the pathfinder,, my daughter had a 95,, nice truck, the only weak link I saw was the transmission, the automatics would lose reverse, so since this is a standard it should be fine. just check it out before you get it.

I'd keep the Tacoma if it runs good. I have a 2016 Tacoma with a gas pedal vibration that I could not give away.

Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
Dude, keep the Tacoma and enjoy life. Old Nissan trucks had terrible transmissions, always had issues with the manual trannies loosing gears and such. I've rebuilt a handful of those in my time, 2nd and 3rd gear like to drop out in them and they're just an all around nightmare. Won't have those problems with your Toyota, Toyota builds exceptional transmissions and trucks! The frames just suck ass is their only real drawback.
