No luck with the compressed air guys...i tried it a couple of different ways. I'm going to give the PDR guys a call. If it's too expensive, I may just have to live with it. Thanks for the tips! I will post an update.

Had a local PDR place take a dent out of my hood last week. Looked like a baseball or golf ball had landed on it leaving a shallow dent about the size of a quarter and you can no longer tell it's there. Cost was $75 and I can keep my sanity by not having my eye drawn to that dent.

I watched the tech who encouraged me to look over his shoulder to see what he was seeing. He used a bright fluorescent light and a tool that had a rounded tip to gently massage the dent out which took about 20 minutes. He stated metal has a memory and wants to go back to its original shape. However, you have to be careful not to over do it or it will lose this memory.

He was also working on a minivan's top that had multiple dents from luggage damage. The headliner was pulled and he had to work around/between sound deadner that looked like strips of silly string across the inside of the top. It was an all day + job that was going to cost around $1200. Still much better, and probably cheaper, than the old fashioned method of filling with bondo and painting.

Paintless will work for those dents. I usually remove the hood to do dents in that area. I'd charge 200 to 250$
