I bought shims and a CB drop to save on the shipping for something I'd 50/50 need - turned out I didn't need either. I may try the CB drop one day but don't really need it - no vibes.

Yes you can reuse the UCA bolts. Only ???? I have is if that 1.5" AAL is going to be enough lift for 887s, but won't know until it's all installed and settled. Leave your factory overload leaf in when you install the AALs.

    Every truck is different..

Assuming you get 3" up front and 2" in the rear by leaving the overload in, you'll be okay. If you have a shell or anything heavy on the ass end you'll be under 2" either way.

If funds aren't an issue go for a proper rear leaf pack and ditch the stock garbage - especially since your set is 10+ yrs old. Lots of people get an AAL because it comes included in a kit but wind up upgrading to a leaf pack later for a better ride.

Getting a new leaf pack installed when i get my new frame hopefully soon, and the funds likely wont allow it after wheels and tires and everything. Probably will upgrade to a leaf pack at some point but AAL will do for now

Sounds like all you need now are some tools and a sixer of your favorite. Looking forward to seeing the finished product.
