    Hello,

I just did my oil change yesterday and everything went normal with exception of the oil cap. It had milky residue on the top.

The rest of the oil drained clear with no sign of moisture. The cap itself seemed to be sealed well.

Any ideas? Oh yea, it's a 2011 Tacoma TRD Sport.

    Thanks

Mine has never had this problem; then again, I do mostly highway driving. I suspect that people who make a lot of short trips have this issue.

Happens on both my vehicles. I only live 2 miles from work, 5 miles from the gym and that's the only places I go on a regular basis. I've read that it's from moisture that gets in the oil that doesn't burn off like it normally would from regular longer trips.

I'd agree, too much short trip driving, need to warm that puppy up more.

For the record, I do a pretty good split between city and highway driving. I live in the city, but work 80 miles away.

EVOL, you'd think that would be enough miles to prevent that.
