2-29-16 Just made the pleasant valley up to briggs cabin and down south park. Never been there but the guy I was with has done it have a dozen times or more, and he told me I could probably make it in my stock rav4 (with street radials!!) AND I DID!!! Barely.Broke a sway link about half a mile from Rodgers pass ( and didn't realize it at the time but also grenaded strut mount on same side). Think I lost 25 pounds sweating thru chicken rock, I mean to tell u that ain't no joke, the old lady grabbed the dog and bailed twice before we got to cabin and that was one of them times.after leavin the cabins and rock crawling down South park my buddy told me he has never seen the route that bad in all his trips. Thank god for sliders Cuz I made full use of them that day. Oh yeah, did the whole trip with NO flats!!!, And I gotta say, CUDOS to FOB, the work and upkeep they do on the cabins is nothing short of amazing!!! Think I was very lucky (and some great driving if I do say so) to complete the loop. Will do again AFTER upgrades and some mods.
