Are the 2 Year and/or Extended Warranties valid in all TOYOTA dealerships?

I got the standard 2 year warranty and the Extended warranty as well...

Will the extended warranty be valid in other dealerships(i.e. different state)??

Just curious.

 

Have you read the paperwork that came with the warranty?

 

Warranty is backed by Toyota and good at any Toyota dealership.

These are questions you should ask before you buy the truck and drive away for the first time.

 

It depends. Some dealers sell an extended warranty that is done in house and only good at that dealer. Most likely you got Toyota Extracare which is good at any dealer.

 

And transferable to a new owner should you sell/trade in before the warranty runs out.

 

Some extended 3rd party warranties are excepted at other dealers. Just depends if that dealer is willing to do business with that company. Did you buy a Toyota extended warranty or 3rd party one?
