Exhaust

I recently put a Flowmaster, stainless steel, cat back exhaust on my 2012 tacoma. I like it, but would like it to sound a little deeper. Would a different muffler help, and if so, what type?

 

Deeper or quieter, you could check with some Tacoma clubs in your area and see/hear what they did? Mine was too loud when I installed headers, so I purchased an exhaust resonator tip. So if you want louder, I suggest to replace it with a resonator or glasspack muffler. On my Subaru I installed a cherry bomb vortex muffler. Louder and much less back pressure. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3oWLuuHh3D0
