Guys, I had a 1999 which I just gave to my son. I got this truck for 33,375 out door. Had transmission fluid level checked today. Went to my farm and was going up and down 30 degree sloped logging roads, crossing creeks and ran off a flock of about 30 turkeys (season starts April 1 in SC). This truck is awesome. Locking diff, crawl control and the 4 doors allows me to take my 5 year old grand-daughter to Church in back seat. This thing is a winner. Greased all my driveshaft zerks this PM. Get one!

    S. C. Has a cap of $300 on sales tax. But the discount off MSRP was 3795 with NO dealer add ons. I got 11% off MSRP

Town and Country Toyota of Charlotte, NC. Ask for Scott Reese. They are in the Sonic Automotive dealer network. If you go their website they have pics of vehicles , show sticker and POST the Sonic price. Best deal I have seen anywhere. I was there one day checking the hoods (adhesive issue) and couple from Hilton Head took delivery. You can put $500 deposit on vehicle coming and they mark it with a red dot in inventory for you. You are NOT committed to buy. Get money back if change mind for any reason ( buy F150, don't like hood, etc),

Gosh it'd be cheaper to ship a truck to Colorado from NC.

I purchased the exact truck 2 days ago and I love it. I had ordered a TRDOR 4X4, waited 3 months, it came in and I hated it. It had the vibration or buzzing in the floor board and steering wheel. Told them to keep it and I went to another dealer and purchased the TRDOR 4X2. My new truck feels completely different. Getting 20 mpg and no vibrations. I do have a hood that needs glue but keeping my fingers crossed that I don't develop any additional issues.

Dtsnfire19, of course I have read on here about the vibrations. I have driven 4 TD OR 4x4 from this dealer checking all for vibrations. I focussed on 1900-2200 rpm. None of them had it. These were not the color I wanted but I was looking for manufacturing issues. I also checked the hoods and back in Jan I was seeing problems. Mine looks good; will monitor. I test drove mine trying to get the vibration before agreeing to buy. So there were 3 things potentially bugging me about these trucks: vibration, hood adhesive, and transmission fluid level. Just had level checked yesterday at dealer expense (good level) by procedure, no vibration and hood looks good. Greased my zerks last night and leaf spring u-bolts good. I require a 4 wheel drive so I was diligent. I appreciate all the operating experience here. Without it I might be very frustrated. I think it takes some time to work out a new model. It seems frustrating that the 2nd gens also had driveline vibration and hood issues.
