Those of you that have lifted your 3rd gen, are you not worried about the warranty not being covered? Or do you have faith that you won't have serious issues?

I know about Magnusson-Moss, but I have seen a service writer on this forum say he would not approve warranty work on a lifted truck.

Any feedback from people that have gotten related warranty work completed or denied with a lift?

I thought about just running a spacer and taking it off if something happened, but I didn't know if the dealer would annotate the fact that it was lifted when I took it in for service to deny me down the road.

It's the risk you take. If you can't afford to pay for repairs if they are denied, you shouldn't be modding.

I speak as a tech. I've covered some repairs and not other. Really just depends on the circumstances

It's not that I can't afford repairs, just don't want to get screwed over by a dealer on a brand new $33k truck with a new to the platform drivetrain for putting on a tire that's 2" bigger.

A few OE parts from fancy trucks
You only loose warranty on the replaced parts, and potentially broken parts that are proven to be a direct result of the other parts.

So if you lift the truck and the AC breaks, they fix it.

What are some of the circumstances that would cause a denial of warranty work?

Then don't lift it. Easy solution.

I like your style. I really want to, being a new design makes me nervous though.

mods that directly affect the customers complaint. IE: customer states truck pulls left/right, tire wear, etc. I would deny coverage with any modified suspension.
