Just got this Tacoma in March with 6 miles on it. I'm new to TW and the Toyota family and figured i should post something!. TW has been in my daily routine for a while now, so i figured i'd start a build thread, updating it as i add mods/parts.

I went rogue with the pictures so bear with me...

About 3 coats in. I did 4 total
    image1.jpg image5.jpg

    For the future:
    -Bilstein 6112 3" lift - Completed
    -275/70/17 KO2's - Completed
    -Weathertech Floor mats - Completed
    -Weathertech bug/rock deflector - Completed
-Thinking about plasti-dipping my stock rims black to go with the new tires. I dont want to be afraid of scratching new rims (and i think the stock black looks pretty sharp).
    -Sliders
-Front window tint to match rear
    -Winch-in-bumper
    -Plasti-dip Badges - Completed
    -Wind/rain deflectors - Completed

Like i said earlier, i'm new and any advice is welcome!

    More updates to come

    None so far
Welcome! I was about to pick up a silver tool box for cheap but would rather have it black. I'm definitely going to try and paint it now.

Thanks! I used two cans of spray on Bed Armor. Good luck!

    Update #3
    Bilstein 6112's and BFG KO2's

Just installed Bilstein 6112's set at the second highest setting. The difference is unbelievable. Driving on forest service roads that are washboarded is great. The lift and the tires gave me great ground clearance. I drove right after a windstorm and was able to drive over small fallen trees without issue.

Slight rubbing on both UCA's at full lock while in reverse, but no rubbing while going forward!

    Same truck!

Installing Spidertrax 1.25" wheel spacers to take care of the rubbing

Had to take off the mudguard at the front of the front fenders, but no rubbing at all after that.

All in all, the 6112's and KO2's were a great investment.
