Hey guys, yes I'm the new guy. I drive a 2016 Tacoma trd offroad 4x4. I just have a quick question bout fitment. I know there's a thousand threads out there, but I just need a simple quick answer without wasting 2 hours on here. So if you could help me out and give me a straight answer instead of "do some research" that would be greatly appreciated...

I'm looking at the Fuel Maverick 18x12 -44mm. I know the stock rims are 16s so its a pretty significant jump. I just need to know what tires to go with because I don't have a lift (yet). This is my first truck so I'm unfamiliar with this. But I do know I want some knobby tires... Not sure if I want all terrains or mud terrrains, but if you could give some suggestions without any rubbing that would be awesome.

I don't know the specs of the factory wheels, but probably the size used on the limited would work. it comes with 18s stock. according to google it uses 265/60r18

Tacoma TRD Off-Road grade will rely on Goodyear's Wrangler All-Terrain Adventure with Kevlar® tires in size P265/70R16- http://www.prnewswire.com/news-rele...2016-tacoma-trd-off-road-grade-300131258.html

I know the stock tire size, I'm trying to figure out what will work with aftermarket rims...

yeah, the stock size for the trd off road is 265/70r16. the Tacoma limited comes with 18inch wheels, so the tire size it comes with should be close to what you need, unless your truck is lifted

Do you know what the stock width is?

the stock tire width is 265, not sure about the rims, but based off the tire size probably somewhere between 7 and 8 inches. a 12 inch wide rim is probably too wide for that size of tire.
