Ok gents, this is kind of petty but annoying nonetheless. My front windows, both driver and passenger, squeak when I roll them up or down.

Does anyone have a simple fix for this?

I assume it has to do with the window gasket and thought about putting silicone on a rag and rubbing it into the gasket. I want to avoid anything that will leave streaks on the glass when I put the windows up and down.

    Any suggestions?

Whenever I've had squeaky windows, the solution that has always worked for me has been to clean the everlasting crap out of the rubber gasket at the bottom of the window sill and the long piece at the end of the door. Usually it's a buildup of dirt, sand, or similar grime that gets caught and needs to be wiped away. Never had to use silicone or other lubricant.

Hope this is of some help.

    shouldn't be a build-up of anything on a 2016.

I'd use some silicone lube on all the rubber trim.

    Depends on the environment.

Next time my windows squeak, I'll try some of this silicone.

My driver window squeaks when I roll it up... about the last few inches only. I figure it will go away at some point but hopefully it won't wreck my window tint.
I've cleaned it and messed with it but when I last checked it, it was still there.
